"Saves me from chasing people all day"
I use videoask to grab leads and send replies right into my workflow. The setup took a bit, and I don’t have much patience for fiddling with stuff like that, but once it was running it made life way easier. Now I’m not stuck chasing people over email all day, which is a huge win. Really happy with it.

"Good video quality most of the time"
I’ve been using VideoAsk to send quick replies to clients, the video quality is solid most of the time. The picture usually comes out clear, and the audio is surprisingly decent even when I’m just using my laptop mic, which is nice because I really don’t want to mess with extra gear for something simple.

The annoying part is the upload or processing can randomly take longer than I’d like, and one of my videos looked a little blurry at first, which was frustrating when I was trying to send it off quickly. It still does what I need, but yeah, those little delays can get on my nerves.

I really like the idea behind VideoAsk, and when it’s working smoothly, it’s useful. It makes collecting responses feel more personal, which is great. But lately it’s been a little hit or miss for me, haha.
Some videos have taken forever to load, and a few customer replies didn’t show up right away. I also had one form freeze while I was testing it, which made me a bit nervous since I’m using it for leads and don’t really want to miss anything.

Support was nice and polite, so no complaints there, but the same kinds of issues keep coming back. For the price, I was expecting it to feel more stable. It’s not unusable, just not quite reliable enough for me right now...

"Reporting feels a little too basic for what I need"
I’m not totally sure if I’m missing something, but the analytics feel limited to me. The reports give you the basics, I guess, but they don’t go very deep, and exporting the data was more of a hassle than I expected. It’s probably fine for simple tracking, but for my needs, it feels a bit too shallow.

I’ve been using VideoAsk for quick videos, and the transcription has been surprisingly accurate. The whole process is really easy, and when captions need a small tweak, it doesn’t take much time to fix them. It’s saved me a lot of work, and I’m really happy with how smooth it is.

"Easy to embed and share"
Ive been using VideoAsk for quick forms on my site, and the embed stuff has been easy to work with. Sharing a link is simple too, which is nice when I dont feel like dealing with adding a new page. The embed settings can take a little clicking around to find sometimes, but once its set up, it works like it should. Overall, its been a solid tool for me

"A little awkward to use as a respondent"
I had to answer a videoask for a company, and it felt kind of awkward. The page took a while to load, and my recording didn’t upload the first time, which made me feel a bit embarrassed because I wasn’t sure if I had done something wrong. It also wasn’t very clear what was going to happen with my video after I submitted it. It did work in the end, but the whole experience wasn’t as smooth as I expected.

"Got way more replies than I thought we would"
We started using Video Ask it brought in more leads than I was expecting. People actually filled it out, and our conversions picked up quickly too. It was simple to set up and use, which helped a lot because... yeah, we didn’t want another complicated tool to deal with.

For what it costs, I think it’s fair. The limits are clearly laid out and easy to understand, which I appreciate. That said, they can feel a bit restrictive depending on what you need, so it’s not perfect. Overall, it’s good enough if you’re mainly looking for something affordable and straightforward

"Clean interface, just took me a minute to figure out"
I’ve been using videoask and overall the interface feels really clean and not overwhelming. The builder is simple in a nice way, like adding a step, checking the flow, changing the text, previewing the video, or seeing what the respondent will see all feels straightforward. I also liked the preview a lot because it helped me catch little things right away, like how the button looked, where the answer options showed up, and whether the whole thing felt natural from the other person’s side.
The only part that threw me off a bit was that some settings felt tucked away. I had to click around to find a few things, like where to adjust certain options, how to tweak little details, where some response settings were, and stuff like that. It wasn’t a huge problem, more like one of those “wait, where did they put that?” moments. Once I found everything, it made sense, but I do think it could be a little smoother. Still, the UI is nice, clean, and easy enough to use once you poke around for a bit.

I’m getting way more replies than I was before. The engagement feels more real now, not like I’m just shouting into the void or trying to game the system. It’s nice because it feels like I’m reaching people in a more genuine way, which matters to me.

"Uploads and videos just work"
I’ve been using Video Ask to send quick little videos to clients, it’s been solid. Uploads actually finish without hanging forever, even when my wifi is being annoying, which, unfortunately, is more often than I’d like.
Playback has been smooth too. I’m not getting messages from people saying the video won’t load or the audio is weird, and that’s kind of the whole point for me. Nothing fancy to complain about, which is a nice change.

"Actually works with the tools I already use"
I’m usually skeptical when companies say something “seamlessly integrates” because half the time that just means you’re about to spend an afternoon troubleshooting. But VideoAsk has been solid with Zapier and HubSpot for me. Once I got it set up, new replies started landing where I needed them without me copying things over manually. Setup took a bit, but it wasn’t a nightmare. It’s been really useful for keeping up with follow-ups and leads.

"Nice way to keep things feeling on brand"
I’ve been using videoask for our customer follow-ups and... i really like how easy it is to make it feel like ours. Being able to add our logo, colors, and a few small touches makes it blend in with our site instead of feeling like some random outside tool. Setup was straightforward too. Nothing too complicated, just simple and does what we need.

We started out using Video Ask with just a small group, and now it’s spread across multiple teams!!! It’s been really easy to keep using as we’ve grown, and so far we haven’t run into any major problems!!! Super happy with it!!!
